To create this image over two hundred thousand portraits have been used. The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts have made this image to celebrate young people. They did this so the children could explore their identity. For this idea to happen they needed the Queens approval. That was no problem because the Queen thought it was a very good idea. The Image is shown from half past eight to a quarter past eleven till Saturday. The age of the children of which the portraits were used was under 16. Also a few celebrities have given self-portraits. They will be auctioned online.

My opinion
I think it is very nice that things like this are done for children. They have something to be proud of. I mean, it is not every day that one of your pictures is used to make a giant picture of the Queen, but that is not all it is also shown on Buckingham Palace. I also find it a nice touch that a few famous people are joining in for such a project. But the best part is that the Queen likes it.

  1. Why would children be happy that they are part of the Queen, and why would the best part be that the queen likes that? Anyway, the summary looks good. Well done :)
