Huge projected images of the Queen, made up of thousands of children's self-portraits, are covering Buckingham Palace each night until Saturday.
To create this image over two hundred thousand portraits have been used. The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts have made this image to celebrate young people. They did this so the children could explore their identity. For this idea to happen they needed the Queens approval. That was no problem because the Queen thought it was a very good idea. The Image is shown from half past eight to a quarter past eleven till Saturday. The age of the children of which the portraits were used was under 16. Also a few celebrities have given self-portraits. They will be auctioned online.

My opinion
I think it is very nice that things like this are done for children. They have something to be proud of. I mean, it is not every day that one of your pictures is used to make a giant picture of the Queen, but that is not all it is also shown on Buckingham Palace. I also find it a nice touch that a few famous people are joining in for such a project. But the best part is that the Queen likes it.

Heywood case: China 'murder cover-up began immediately'

Heywood case: China 'murder cover-up began immediately'

A cover-up began immediately after Neil Heywood had been murdered in Chongqing. That is what a Chinese journalist told the BBC. Bo Xilai, a top politician has been fired because he was involved in the case.  The police who found the body realized that is as murder. Ex-police chief Wang Li Jun became involved after three investigators were ask to resign out of fear. Mr Wang was fired after telling his boss Mr Bo about the case. He told the US officials about the case. Ms Gu and an orderly at Mr Bo’s home, Mr Xiaojun, have been arrested and Mr Bo is under investigation.

My opinion

I think it is terrible that there are so many murders happening every day. But the worst part about that is that people in politics are supposed to be people we can trust. Then we often find out that it is not the case. I think as a role model for a lot of people, that those people who are should get punished even harder. When they do something wrong the whole world can see their mistakes. That is why I think they should get more severe punishment.
